The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Langley are holding a virtual workshop designed to provide youth with a unique experience exploring concepts outlined in CFEE’s ‘Money and Youth’ and other related resources. The workshop will focus on goals and decision making, planning for the future, banking, saving and the use of credit, budgeting to reach a goal, careers including entrepreneurship and the decision making around obtaining and paying for post-secondary education. There will be time devoted to the realities of the post COVID19 world, and a question and answer session following the workshop.
The workshop will include instructions on how to access and use CFEE and other resources easily and effectively as high school graduates deal with changes to education environments including learning at home, and the steps needed to prepare for post-secondary school and work-life realities in a changing world.
This workshop will be presented by Kevin Maynard, VP of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, and hosted on the Zoom videoconferencing platform, as well as in-person at Big Brothers Big Sisters Langley.
**In-person space is limited. If you are interested in attending in-person, please contact cizatt@cfee.org to confirm.**
