Planning for your next steps after High School? Join us for an informative, interactive and energizing virtual workshop, organized by CFEE together with IG Wealth Management, to provide you with a unique experience exploring concepts outlined in CFEE’s “Money and Youth: Student Guide to Financial Literacy” and other related resources.

Date: Tuesday, June 11, 2024

Time: 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. ET

Place: Markville Secondary School, 1000 Carlton Road, Unionville, Ontario.

The workshop will focus on goals and decision making, planning for the future, banking, saving and the use of credit, budgeting to reach a goal, careers including entrepreneurship and the decision making around obtaining and paying for post-secondary education.

The workshop will include instructions on how to access and use CFEE and other resources easily and effectively as high school graduates deal with changes to education environments and the steps needed to prepare for post-secondary school and work-life realities in a changing world.

Every participant will receive a FREE copy of “Money and Youth,” and a helpful list of easy-to-use resources and more… You will also have a chance to participate in a fun, interactive competition… and win some great prizes!

This workshop will be presented by Kevin Maynard, VP of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education.
