The Ontario School Counsellors’ Association (OSCA) 2023 Fall Conference is being held at the Hilton – Mississauga/Meadowvale on Monday, October 16th! The conference theme is: “Come Back to Get Ahead.”

Kevin Maynard, Vice-President & COO of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE), will be presenting a workshop entitled, “Building a Toolkit to Help Your Students Develop Financial Capability.” Join us at this workshop to:

• Review research around what kids want to learn and why;
• Explore FREE easy to use resources to support parents in topics related to Career Exploration and Decision-making, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, and Economics;
• See the pedagogical approach utilized in each resource, including comments on outcomes, methodology, assessment, and modification for learning styles; and
• Review selected resources and related activity or discussion plans for use with students from Grades 4 and beyond.
