CFEE’s President, Gary Rabbior, was interviewed on CTV Montreal today. The interview focused on rising interest rates and the primary mandate of the Bank of Canada which is to control inflation (keep it in the range of 2%) in order to protect the value of money. In addition, Gary discussed how rising interest rates affect different groups of Canadians. Some of CFEE’s programs (Money and Youth: A Guide to Financial Literacy, FinLit 101, Talk With Your Kids About Money) were also mentioned.
