KICK Conference
September 16, 2022 is the day your students will get the chance to KICK start their post-secondary endeavors in business! We would like to invite your Grade 11 & 12 business students in the upcoming 2022-2023 school year to this year’s KICK Conference.
The KICK Conference features several segments led by guest speakers and university student representatives from business programs across Ontario. The segments are meant to introduce students to what they can expect during their post-secondary education. The segments include:
- Misconceptions about Post Secondary Education
- A Day in the Life Compared (High School vs Post-Secondary vs Workplace)
- The Future of the Business Workplace
- The Post-Secondary Starter Pack
- Networking with Student Representatives (from schools of business including Schulich, Rotman, Smith, Lazardis, Ivey, and more)
Attendees will get the exclusive opportunity to converse with and ask questions to student representatives from business university programs across Ontario. This will allow them to gauge the experiences their next few years in school will hold as well as how to prepare for the application process. To register your students, you can click the following link: https://www.kickconference.com/groupbookings. This will take you to the school registration which must be completed by a teacher who will attend the conference along with the students. The teacher will be required to enter the total number of students attending from your school. When signing up as a teacher, on behalf of your students, the conference is free of charge. The conference will be held through Zoom on September 16, 2022 from 9:45 am to 1:30 pm. The full itinerary can be found on the website: kickconference.com. You will be emailed a link closer to the conference date that can be shared with your students so they can all join individually through their devices.
