The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) has partnered with the University of New Brunswick to offer a series of virtual workshops designed to help improve the financial education and capability of University and College students. The goal of this workshop is to help you understand Canada’s tax system and how it can impact your financial health.  You will learn how Canada’s progressive income tax system works as well as tax reduction strategies including deductions and credits for students.  You will also learn how taxes will impact your finances as you start your careers and start making more money and begin buying larger assets like a house or condo.  Taxes are a way of life but understanding how they work can help you minimize the impact on your money.
